Privacy Policy

When you contact me: your name and email, plus anything else you choose to share, like your phone number, session type, location, message, and how you heard about me.

When you book: your name, email, phone number, session, date and time, and your notes. Those notes can include details about your family, like your baby's name, birthday, or due date, and your home address area.

When you pay: Stripe takes your payment on its own secure page. I can see that you paid and how much, but I never see your full card number.

When you sign your agreement: your typed name, your drawn signature, the time you signed, your IP address, and basic details about your device. These go on your signed copy as a record of the signature.

When you browse: Google Analytics collects things like the pages you view, how you found the site, your general location, and your device type. My website host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.

Your photos: the images from your session.

I use your information to answer you, schedule and photograph your session, take payment, send your agreement and gallery, and keep records for my business.

I use analytics to see which pages are helpful and how people find me. Filling out a form on this site doesn't sign you up for a mailing list.

A few companies handle information for me so the site can work:

• Stripe takes payments, and stores your booking details and signed agreement.
• SMTP2GO delivers emails from the site, like your confirmation, signed agreement, and gallery link.
• Google Analytics measures visits and bookings. It doesn't receive your name or email from my booking pages, and it doesn't run on gallery or agreement signing pages.
• Vercel hosts this website.

I may also share information if the law requires it. Links to Instagram and Facebook take you to their sites, where their own privacy policies apply.

I don't sell your contact details or payment information. The model release in your session agreement covers how your images can be used, including on my website and in advertising. Please read that section before you sign, and ask me if you have questions.

Galleries are shared through a private link and aren't listed on this site or in my sitemap. Please treat your link like a key, and only share it with people you'd like to see your photos. Galleries are usually online for a limited time, so download your images while yours is available.

Google Analytics uses cookies to tell new visits from returning ones. If you unlock a gallery, a small cookie remembers that for up to 90 days so you don't have to re-enter the password.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on. You can also read how Google uses information from sites like this one.

I keep booking records and signed agreements for as long as I need them for your session, my taxes, and legal reasons. Google Analytics keeps visit data tied to cookies for up to 14 months. Stripe and my other providers also keep records under their own policies.

I photograph a lot of babies and kids, but this site is for parents and other adults. Information about a child comes from their parent or guardian. If you think a child has sent me information directly, let me know and I'll delete it.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information I have about you. Just email me at tiffany@photobytiff.com. I may need to keep some records, like payments and signed agreements, for tax or legal reasons.

If this policy changes, I'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
